Oh how i long for national day celebrations back in AIPS ! lol i still recall the hassle of having to slip into those itchy shulder padded traditional thoabs for national day and piling on the gold for our l'il insync dance performances! choreographed by our beloved miss 7asna gaarrrrr LOL! aaah how can anoyone forget our famous dance combinations that was compiled of three main manouvers
A. The create circular movements with the palm of your hands facing outwards - wax on, wax off
B. The swishing of your hair left and right with your right hand cushioned close to your nose...
C. Lifting the top chiffon layer of the thoab and swaying it from side to side and simultaneously tiptoe-ing around the stage!
woooohoooow once u got that combination of dance techniques going you were on a rolllllllll! lol i miss those days and our puffy buffon style hairdos and rainbow hairsprayed fringes ehheheh!

It's beautiful how our city is starting to glow with national day decorations everywhere including cars, schools, libraries, sheila's, roads for our country's 35th Birthday! we already had our share of celebrations at office and it turned out fantastic, everyone played a role and i was in charge of all the design collaterals for the event including mini u.a.e posters, ecards, wrapping paper, web banners and l'il polaroid picture holders for all the employees! weeeew! ofcourse, nothing outweighed the delicacies we got to devour at the end of the event including Kareem's fancy U.A.E fruit cake yummy yummy!

I think we should all be grateful for this union and the power it has gifted our country with over the years may it grow and flourish to stand proud amongst the nations and may allah protect our country doam.. allah ye7fatch ya emaraaty il7abeeba i heart you milllionsss ... squeeeze hugg crushhh! Haveee a fantabulous ultraaa long weekend allll and start waving those flags for tommorow!
