mood: shaky n shocked

sitting on my desk, skimming over an sms on me cellphone, i was suddenly struck by a strong spell of dizziness! the world around me shook for a milli-second and then my colleague asked in confusion did you feel that? at that very second i knew it wasn't only me feeling a bit giddy but the entire building experienced a tremor! In the rush of fear i picked up my belongings gathered sneezoi, shadsy and ran for the elevators which opened up to cabins filled to the rim with people! Panic began to drill its way through us so instead we rushed for the fire exit and made our way down the spiralling clausterphobic staircase following the rest of the evacuee's ! feeling shaky in me knees n sneezoi reminding us to repeat prayers in our hearts al7amdullilah we safely made our way down over ten floors and on our way came across a lady hyperventilating in fear! allah y7fathna wu yij3al baladna aaminan , all this drilling into the earth is definately not helping the safety of our country....

Tuned into the radio 103.8 at home it's been determined that a huge earthquake has struck the south of iran and in turn tremors have bounced it way over to the UAE presenters are emphasizing that their is no need to panic ! for now gulfnews has updated news on the situation, inshallah it all passes and we don't witness anymore natural disasters

RAY OF LIGHT

music: a new day has come
mood: taking bigger steps

I'm still recovering from the rollercoaster ride of my life.. filled to the brim with sharp turns and adrenaline pumping unexpected heart throbbing deep falls. A ride that made me change my view of life, made me eyes tear for the acquaintences i encountered, made my heart ache and support others whose names i didn't know, made me pray for their loved ones and witness a family's grief over the loss of a loved one. Behind those doors i witnessed a new world, a world i ignorantly dismissed & blocked out until it was my turn to stand on the other side. Nothing in this world can replace our love for our faith. Afterall, what is our goal in this life but to become stronger muslims and believe in our written fates. Everything happens for a reason and whatever comes our way, no matter how harsh it may seem is for the best al7amdullilah. Patience, Du3a, prayers, 9adaqa is the key to true happiness in this lifetime and the next. Thanxs to the grace of god and everyones sincere and endless support n prayers the clouds have been swept away in my skies and the sunrays are penetrating my skin once again.. thankyou for being there for me.. your prayers saved his life ,,,

On a lighter note, alot of new events are lined up my way for December the main one being sealed by the HYPER-REAL exhibit at The Thirdline and yeah ofcourse everyone's invited to the show +smiles+ i've been busy finalizing the hi-res artwork and pricing the pieces i'll have on exhibit as well as creating new pink sushi fashion t-shirts just for the Third Line, the pieces will be signed and numbered embellished funky tops. Hopefully, i intend to post the final creations as the date nearers.

Also, i've made an effort to participate in more worthy causes such as donating a few of my creations to a fantastic group of ZU female students aiming at auctioning the items on National Day +passes out uae flags shake it shake it+ and raising funds for children with Thallasemia in Al Wasl Hospital, Dubai. Oh and i was fortunate enough to be gifted with a flat new pair of prettyfit shoes to customize once again for the Art&Sole project to be auctioned at XVA gallery and in turn raise money for people around the world in life threatening situations. As always my schedule is jampacked with deadlines i need a getaway asap or even a de-stress massage might do the trick i need to unknot my soul n boost my spirit asap..
