a weekend morning.. the birds are chirping.. the sunrays are stretching across the skies and glitzou is brushing herself againt me awaiting her breakfast asap lol! my struggle with waking up early goes way way waaaaay back! i've been thru atleast 8 sets of different curtains each one padded with more black out than the latter, i also experimented with setting me clock 2hrs before time but still my stubborn biological clock just won't let me sleep after sunrise heheheh! i wonder which side of the familytree i inherited that from! lol i guess the only advantage of waking up around 6am is that your day involves alot more activities and i get to squeeeze in more into my already hectic schedule ! hmpphhh...
I attended a major press conference yesterday for the launch of mobile.dubai.ae a lightweight portal designed specifically to ease the live of dxb residents and providing them with essential information about various aspects such as prayer timings, traffic fines by dubaipolice, flight bookings n info by emirates airlines, stock market quotes by dfm and local cinema showtimings on their pda's, the service seems to be the first of its kind in the region and is quite advantageous if you use mobile devices for browsing, although the mobile portal its still in its early stages i must admit that a v good friend of mine sneezoi deserves a huge round of applause for making this project happen u gooo goo gadget gooo u did itt +weeeeeeew+ So if ur accustomed with the sights n sounds of a press conference you're already familiar with the jitterbugs of ppl double checking projectors, connections, name cards, microphones, arrival of inquisitive press ppl with amazing lenses mounted atop their ghastly priced cameras +my source of entertainment hee hee+, VIP spokespersons, networking and refreshmentssssssss at the v end ummmmmmm! hehehehehe
Gitex is also buzzing from behind the bushes so i guess that means a few things numero uno CRAZIER TRAFFFIC JAMS on all dxb roads +ugh+ two longer working hours for me sniffffffffff sniffff! three being able to pickup interesting pamphlets, corporate gifts and artwork from other exhibitors four GIANT GIANT GIANT APPLE stand yaa thats gnna be me official hangout lol five free adobe seminars and product reviews yeyyy!
also, i've been enjoying working on a freelance job for Euphoria it's turning out fab and my client is fishing for creativity so i am gng wild with the concepts n sketches, will post the final artwork as soon as i wrap up the project inshallah alrighteyy gtta run glitzou's tummmy sounds like a lawnmower now miskeeeeeena tooodles hehehehehe!
