Yey, i am hoooome... with 10 days of fantastic memories, delelelcious dining, endless ladure'e hot chocolate / macaroons intake and excessive amounts of shopping! It's been a while since my friends and i have spent quality time together considering most of us have tied the knot recently and the others have been twirled into the glory of motherhood! eeek.. so with all that bustle a plan was devised for the eleven of us to escape from our daily routines and throttle freely to London + Paris for a week ! yeyyyy i.e minus the hubbies and minus the little ones ! +smirk+ Still a l'il bit of a dream in my mind but yup we ended up cramming into mimiloo's adorie lil Ealing Tudor House garnished with pink hydraenga's and hot pink roses!
I already miss the girly excitements we shared, the burst of fits at the silliest things to the point where we had to race to the loo.. lol! the Tarantula massacre by swiffer day ! Singing along to songs with made up lyrics in our red minivan and driving Mr. Bhatia our designated driver deaf loll, hogging the latest fashion must haves, our "oh so hot" acquaintences that we had to strike a pose with and the endless gossip sessions till fajr prayers. It was as girly and frilly as it could possibly get and now that we're back to our seperate lives all i have left of the trip is unlimited digital snaps, polaroids and memories etched forever into our lives, love u gals to itty bitty bits huggggggs!
My time spent in London was smashing made my regular trips to portabello market, camden market and covent garden for the hippest vintage finds. Even managed to squeeze in time to watch a musical Wicked which turned out to be one of the best plays i have watched until Date! A really interesting twist to the wizard of Oz!! too bad i left before the start of the Lord of the Rings play started though..
Paris was a brand new experience for me considering it was a rainbow circus of the oddest khaleeji's. Honestly, i dnt know where some ppl derive their fashion sense from and the va va voom hairdo's, proffesional make up was simple way too grotesque, Someday in this lifetime i think we shud all put in a joint initiative to mend this overwhelming image of bizarre couture fashion some adorn! urghh! WHY??? i ask WHY?????? +sigh+
These are my fav shots of the best things i encountered last week and Summer Songs that will forever remind me of one of the best all girls summer trips in my life hugggs to alll. Back to work for mee....
