Discover the soothing music of Abri a dubai-based band, their song Philosophies has got me hypnotized! i'm truly looking forward to the group's potential to etch a mark on the international charts, check out their hip video on youtube ! lol the lead singer Hamdan has got me dreaming of getting dreads in my hairr too lol.

I think Dubai is really broken the records with creating fantasy projects so here's yet another bead thats been strung along. Chillout cafe is located in the new Time's Square Mall on Sheikh Zayed rd. A hip lil space that's been entirely formed outta ice including the plates, glasses and seating. The -7 degrees temp inside the cafe' was a l'il too chilly for me considering all my finger joints, nose and feet were entirely numbed lol, I'd like to see someone last in there for more than 15mins but at the end of a scorching summer day the ice cafe' is a great retreat to frost yourself and then defrost the second u step back out lol!

My obsession with Kitsch is always complimented by Ronald's freebies, This month it's adorie l'il plastic my little pony dolls. So before everyone depletes their stock drive through a Mc D's and grab urself a colorful happy meal deal bound to draw a gigantic smile across ur face at a cost of 11 dhs lol. Collect 'em allll!

Crash any friend's, family or personal pool you can dive in. Yup just lazing by the pool or on the beach not only has been scientifically proven to heighten your energy levels but also leave you sun kissed and relaxed. Nothing outweighs my passion for swimming in summer but make sure you protect your skin with a quality sunblock no less than 60 spf. No one wants to get all wrinkly before time ! Public beaches to crash Jumeirah Beach Park on Mondays and Almamzar Beach Park on Wednesdays and if ur wallets loaded with some extra cash then consider paying an unreasonable entrance fee to the Dubai Ladies Club as a guest for a day.

Get hold of the new gaming phenomenon by Nintendo the Wii! U'll be screaming weeeeeee all summer i.e. until the excitement of a new gadget dies down! It's ideal for working out ur biceps using the ninchuck and joystick to navigate and play games manually. Honestly, the clever clogs over at Nintendo have finally devised a computer game device that incorporates human actions and sorta allows you to practise all sports in the convenience of your own living room! Hillarious stuff!! my fav game has to be Rayman and the raving Rabbids awwwww i just can't get over those cutesy rabbits!

Pay a trip to the Juicy Couture store in the Emirates Towers Boulevard and stock up on their discounted range of ultra comfy track bottoms and soft towel sundresses! Bound to promote air circulation a la windtower style throughout our sticky summer. I've said g'bye to my skinnies until the winter time!

Group a bunch of your talented Cooking friends and host cooking parties together. I am a great fan of this activity simply surf up a recipe' online a great source for starters is www.foodnetwork.com and ask each one of your cooking group members to pick a recipe for eg. a salad by kitchen queen A, a dessert by Kitchen Queen B, a main course and perhaps a fresh fruit cocktail for drinks. Everyone brings their ingredients & recipe along. Sets up in the kitchen and demonstrates how to prepare a dish. After it's all done recipes are shared n exchanged and hopefully, an edible meal is served for all to feast on. umm ummm! This must be the greatest way to socialize in history lol!

Aite, thats about all my tips for the summer have a good one peeps and hopefully i'll be able to squeeze in another entry before i fly out cheeerio!

A NEW DAWN

And so the story unfolds, days have flown by in a gust of aromatic wind, today i stand within a new chapter of my life, a beautiful white chapter embelished with ornamental borders and vivid reality. Yes, it is a great change but an enchanting one, one that has been paved in my path by a power greater than mine the power of destiny. Honestly, i've pushed the limits of taking time off, and tuning out the entire world, but i've loved every second of it, every minute of engulfing some time to myself and my new home, After a hectic never ending series of wedding planning from A-Z, to running around for my ivory bridal pair of Gina's, designing my wedding invitations, personalized shabby chic themed placemats & mini caramel popcorn boxes; It reached a point in which stressing for perfection built up 99% of my system! LOL! i guess now i truly understand the phenomenon of wedding jitters and a desperation for a fast forward button at that point of my life. Alas, it was beautiful my very own white fairytale and most importantly i was surrounded with my closest family n friends on a night that sparked shiny stars in my eyes. That was my big night, the night i shall cherish for eternity al7amdullilah .

Now that i have awoken from my l'il trance i have much catching up to do, with my fashion label, a new layout for my tattered website, a home range, a store and alot more ambitious goals that i have lined up. Posting this entry will be a stepping stone to get me kicking once again i kinda got hooked on being a l'il lazy lol! But spoiling oneself is never too harmful as long as u know when to draw the line ! So i am BACK yeeeeeeeeeeeeeehaaaa! and it feels good to be back on track again ! so before i scurry off i have to include a thankyou paragraph for everyone who played a role supporting me and calming my anxiety levels before my big night!

Laith a billion gazillion thankyou's for being the most supportive and out of the box wedding planner i could ever wish for.. i loved brainstorming shabby chic concepts together, your handmade customized fans, floral tablecovers, picnic basket centerpieces n stacked hatbox wedding cake concept, i loved conquering every item we cud lay our eyes on in cottage chic and cracking up in fits at the shocked reactions we might recieve with the decoupaged mannequin behind my upholstered chaise longue , thankyou for reassuring me that everything wud be beyond my imagination. You so overshadow Rachel Ashwell by faaaar ! lol

Huds, Sams n Seemi For all your extra support n help with the floral arrangements, flower girl outfits, finalizing the dinner menu arranging my candyfloss n caramel popcorn machines, i always dreamt of having sisters and now god has gifted me with three gaawjus ones! ummmmmmwa7 u guys are my lifesavers!

Shadsy For organizing the guest list, and entrance card arrangements. For helping me overcome all my breakdowns and emotional sprees for being there whenever i needed her may allah bless you with happiness forever can't wait to serve you and plan you entire big night with you inshallahhh!

Kitten n Samsooma for actually spending the night in the Grand Hyatt on the same floor lool u guys are the biggest sweeethearts ever , thankyou for sharing my night it reallly made me glow from within and ur morning note slipped under the door was the sweeetest gesture ever! huggggggs we love you guys.

Lubna For booking all my hair, nail, make up, massage, spa and dentist appointments along with adorie reminders the day before each booking! GOD what wud i have done without youuuuu!

Finallly, For everyone who made it to my wedding thankyou for being there i know its 3 months late but i truly am blessed to have shared it with all of youu thankyou hugggggggggggssssss!
