let's define "me" time! "me time" = slots of time allocated to be spent in solitude, "me time's" can range in an array of activities be it grocery shopping alone, snuggling up in a hellokitty blankie while reading a book, at NBAR having a mani n pedi treatment while the therapists sing along to Glenn Medeiros's - nothing's gonna change my love for you hmmm and more "me time" excursions might include wearing a giant straw floppy sunhat while sipping on ice cold lemonade on the beach with fresh mint leaves floating inside or even sifting through old photoalbums and cracking up at the knockout hairdo's and shoulder pads fashion sense days! I love my "me time" i wudn't give them away for the world yup i grasp onto them whenever i feel an urge to block out everything else and it always works like magic ! so how innovative have all of you gotten in your very own "me time" sessions? care to share? ehehehehehhe

For some peculiar reason i ended up watching a movie titled 9aba7 the other night, the entire plot revolved around a syrian family whom migrated to live in Canada and their struggles with balancing their culture and traditional roots along with a more western flamboyant Canadian lifestyle! The result a total mess and mockery! To me as a muslim i was surprised about the way they demonstrated the concept of wearing an islamic 7ijab and how the actress was so easygoing about letting it drop off as she wished, exposing her cleavage and wearing sleeveless kneelength dresses with a scarf on while sipping on wine on her date and still claiming she wasn't allowed to show her hair as a muslim mit7ajba! LOL! I was in hysteric fits cuz there was nothing left for her to hide! hahahaha i wonder where they got their basics sorted about how to portray a muslim female and i wonder what concept this engraves in the already distorted image non muslims might behold towards us.. at 40 yrs of age she had to remain unemployed and live under her hypocrite brother's strict rules and lead a rigid life in Canada taking care of her hillarious mom! Although, the lighthearted humour of the movie was entertaining they shudda tweaked some of the misleading stereotypes about muslim women in general and patched up some of the hypocrisy in illustrating our ideals rather than the sloppy endresult screened... i wonder if any of ya watched it?? cuz i'd like to share reviews looool!

Too bad the weekend soared past so fast tomm its back to work and momo's Dubai is only making me craving London more than ever, counting days till i rocket off is turning into a demanding need! portabello market, falfels in camden, momo's i hear all of yar yearnings make way for me soooon! aightt enjoy whats left of your friday huggggggggggggs!

highs of me week:: chocolate mousse-ing with my high school classmates who finally tied the knot a few weeks ago awwww mabrooook again to looli n saqr i love you guys! Painting me finger n toe nails in coral orange, bumping into vuuundaba fashy TWICE, waving at karrooozzziii and learning the moroccan way of indulging into couscous ehheheeh! alll the best peeps!
