Perhaps a valid reason to get one chirpy might include a Brand new pair of Louboutins, a nutella smothered cupcake devoured at a picnic or even a measly bite-sized orange piece of smarties. But to me the ultimate gob smacking, tongue jittering and conversation striking item du jour would be non other than yet another new edition of Timeout Dubai's 2008 restaurant guide book! +drools+ I thoroughly aid the belief that dining is a fine art! Honestly, if i had to delve into a masters degree at some point in my life it would be in the field of cuisines, catering & hospitality. Alot of my friends have actually even honoured me with the title of being their personal restaurant guide ! lol dunno if thats a cause to boast about but it sounds fancy +me likey's+ so here's a breakdown of some of my latest finds recommended through word of mouth and research.

Dkaan Almasjid is tucked away between the fancy residential houses in Za'beel! and honestly i ain't a fan of eggs but their baidh 6maa6 rolled in a warm paratha slice is simply lethal! yummy its sorta drowned in daqoos and i dunno about the level of hygiene that goes into its preperation but all i know is that its a killller! yummmy yummy ! and it costs you 2 dhs 50 fils lol! give it a shot its on the second right after the za'abeel palace opp. the novotel hotel Dubai.

Next Up Cafe' Sushi at the Fairmont dunno what took me so long to discover this hangout , the ambiance is zero for dinner but the sushi is lip-smacking especially the spicy fatty tuna roll! and the crazy-makki reminds me of makki in kuwait somehow and i loved the modern/zen interiors of the joint. Too bad it costs 50dhs to valet at the fairmont and their sushi bar doesn't validate the coupon! +silly reallly+

Finally, for a great 45mins teppenyaki lunch break squeezed between office hours nothing feeds my hunger like Tokyo at the towers! the tiger prawn and chicken combination is fantabulous and the cool bit is it comes with free miso soup, stir fried veggies and steamed rice! yummy yummy okay thats a fooodie update on my behalf if u guys have any recommendations on latest dubai food finds do keeep me postedddd!
