what is it about fridays? its like every friday morning i get stung with that icky wicky friday feeling! lol its just this strange beyond the paradigm gut feeling that invokes me every single passing friday! i guess fridays always happen to be my least favourite day of the week! and the rest of the weekdays are all me sunshine days heheheheheh! i mean even if i tried action packing my day with everything that gets me hyped up n energized.. fridays will always remain fridays arghhhh! +directs an evil stare at friday+ heheheheh.. lately i've been cooking up the origins of almost every word i utter so today its time for discovering the origins of the weekdays naming scheme! ooop i just discovered that it also happens to be earth day today for the first time after 35yrs! i dn't mind adding earth day into me calender it sounds fancy! ehhehehe hmmm so let's all warp into eco-friendly mode and help protect our environment in some way or the other! i'm gnna put me basic gardening skills to the test let's just pray i dnt end up overflooding the seed to death!

Kitty n sams u gals are the most highlighting galsies ever! thanxs for rushing over and giving me a blast of a time! awwwwwwwwwwwww but first let's read on urselves heheheheheheh! i can't stop cracking up and jamming together in the jar was just the ultimate paint-filled kick of the day! +hugggglezzz+ out to the two of ya i am really glad we crossed paths cuz i honestly feel innah we have grown into the nuttiest bunch of my fwiendsies evah!! awwwwww grabs kitty's rimango +slurrrrrrrrrrrp+ yes i am still droooling over it! hahahahahahha !

eeek so yeah i was thinking about tiny facts about me that confuse me about me! firstly, for some strange reason i am allergic to our tv set or let's just say any television set! yup even if it was a hellokitty one! i just don't find it interesting to sit and flip channels which is weird ! i can't even remember the last time i actually switched that bulky black box on and watched a tv program!! lolzz! hmm and then i have this tendency to wake up at 6:30am no matter what day of the week it is yup !i'm simply always up early no matter what time i snug into bed, being an early bird so my eyelids die on me by 10pm so i guess that explains it!! awww how i wish i cud flutter me eyes open at 11pm once that wud just blossom me brains outta context +bashes her biological clocks head+ heheheh! anyhus enuff blabbing grabs her cabbage patch kids mug n runs off!! i've got a breakfast to catch!

DON'T DIE DUBAI

EEEEEEK! its bitten me and oohh gawwwd it stings! sniff sniff! yeah those teenie weenie microscopic l'il viruses have entered my system, turned on the mission impossible theme song on full blast, cracked my immune system's secret combination code and voila left me with a COLD! arghhhhhhh hahahahah +atchhhh-uuuuu+ so sneezing at the rate of 10 times per minute is more or less all i am achieving these past days! LOL! hehehehhe i've been doing alot of thinking these past few days and there are certain issues that are triggering me cranky braincells but before we delve into those issues i wonder why colds are called colds? i mean its summer time and i have a cold! it just sounds awkward or maybe its just me fuzzed up thinking due to mr.fancy virus pants! ahhahaha

So yeah it hurts me to see the way my city is blindly following trends that oppose our cultural beliefs & values, The other day prior to the airing of Hotel Rwanda +thumbs up to dat movie+ i was shocked by the promotional ads being aired on the huge screen! BARBICAN non-alcoholic beer ads blaring right across me eyes! and slapped all over our local transport buses! with a slogan that screams out "barbican this is the lifestyle you should adorn to be bold and hip!" The Barbican press release for the middle east region is more than enough proof of how the west is targeting our youth with destructive new ideas and lifestyles. With all those beverages out there in the market why stress on alcoholic beers it ain't gnna add anything enriching to our lives! i just feel the whole concept is foolish and No it won't prevent youngsters from trying out alcohol but instead encouraging them to go for it and eventually dive into get the real taste of life! +arghhhh i am agitated by all this idiocrosy+ it frustrates me immensely.. although i ain't an extremist this entire advertsing campaign definately pushed my sanity buttons outta context ! +boxes all their noses hard+ maybe i am over reacting but i honestly feel this issue is dead serious especially when they use our teenagers in the ad dressed up in national clothing and Raising beer bottles up in the air like it was a trophy! +what a pity what a shame+ maybe if non-alcoholic was mentioned atleast once it wud justify my morals but the lack of that makes me fear for our youth! I mean if it's Playing in public how can it possibly be wrong? sa7??

I wonder where we're heading next we have already made it to the clubbing hotspots hall of fame and the dresscode in our country seems to be deteoriating by the second, my instincts tell me it won't be long before the azzan farewells our everyday lifes as was illustrated when the launch of the new dubaitv and drunk driving will affect atleast one of our family members oh n perhaps A&E will shed its opaque white storefront and unveil all to the public +sighh sigh sighh+ i wonder when this madness will end perhaps never but its worth a shout out !

P FOR POLAROID

Finally, heeee heeeeeeeeeeeee my polaroid Pro pack off lomography arrived by the fwiendly and speedy gonzalez speeed UPS team awwwwwwww! i've beeen wanting to get me hands on this Gemmmm forr agess noww! hooo hooo soo after reading all the instructions and conducting some serious research about producing image transfers from polaroids i wassssssss thrilllleeeeeeeed withh mee initial experiments! also the fact that i cud create multiple exposure with every frame is a majorr turnn onnn for moi! hahahahahah soo yeahhh the fun part about using peel apart polaroid film is that you can transfer it into any material you desire, usually watercolor paper provides fantastic results but since i ran out i opted for regular printer paper i had doodled on and some arabic newspaper pages instead!! ooooohhh i didn't think it wud turn out to be so simplee!

all u gtta do is shooot, soak up the paper u wanna transfer ur image onto, pulll outt ur polaroid, peeel it apart, press the negative side onto the sheet of paper and press it down with a rolller, let it set for 2 mins and voilaa peeel off the paper to unveil yourrr polaroid transfer! i can already envision meself gng nutts over me new discoveryy! eeeeeeek heree aree some more tips on creating polaroid transfers! alsoo some films you can experimentt withh! i actually was inspired by bonnie's gaaaawjuss transfers!! she rockssss huggggggggggs! sometimes i wish i cud just ditch my rooom n transfer it into a darkroom that wud be my definition of a live home entertainment system yeeehaaa!

Surprisingly, enuff i am up after midnight tonite so if i'm High in this entry ! errrrm its cause of the insomnia! hahahaha thats reallly awkward cuz i tend to kharr-shuuu byy 10pm at the latest! haahhah my biological clock has a mind of its own and its stubborn as hell! +BOX ITS NOSE HARD! + also this week is crammmed with ::ebsiboo's:: wedding partiess awww dolllyyyy! atlastttt can't waitt to see yaa gloww as a bride mashalllah hugggggggggggggggggggggg! amm gonna mithhh u thooo baddddddddd! snifffliesss mayyy yourr life be filled with all the joy in the worlddd!! squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze

Back when i was in highschool i thought i had me mind set, i thought i had it all worked out n calculated so as soon as someone wud pop the magic question! "what do u wanna be when u grow up?" i'd shoot out in a split second "when i grow up i want to be a doctor.." lolzzz so my O-levels were decorated with sciences and my high school degree also targeted at sciences! So what went wrong? Or what drasticallly shifted me careeer goals? how'd i end up as an art student with a degree in graphic design errrrrrrrrm! Gaawwwwd destiny is so mindboggling! you live your day by the seconds unaware of what might await you in the next hour, whether it cud be lifechanging or just another ordinary day! sub7aan allah the beauty of life and its mysteries alll intertwined to weave our life.

I guess after graduation and overwhelming meself with my ideal scenario endlessly frightened me off, So i seeked change i wanted to do something i was clueless about, i wanted to test meself but being the nerd that i am.. i always questioned me decision, taking that huge step shifted my persepectives entirely.. i never ever imagined meself as a graphic designer! eeeeeeeeeeeeek Life is so intriguing everyday another door of opportunity awaits each one of us and each one of us will have a different encounter with destiny. I guess this opens up alotta different facets sometimes i feel we have hidden traits within us that we have never touched upon so how wud we ever know if we'd excel in those fields, maybee i cud've been a hmmm an author, orr a gymnast orr maybee a sociologist orr perhapss an archaelogist orr a computer games engineeer or a botanist, orr a chocolatier orr hmmm a glass maker but i cud never ever ever be a mathematician CUZ i honestly n strongly believe that i am allergic to numbers! ahaaa me n numbers thats a BIG nooo NOOOO! lol! sooo i was just jugggling these ideas in me head today and concluded that "when there's a will there's a way!" so i guess if u wannna excell in a certain field all u have to do is put ur mind and heart to it and that way nothing will ever be impossible!!! funkaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii..... i wonder what u guys wanted to be when u were kids?

The heal the world exhibit will take placey thiss weeek! cant wait to see how me piece turns out amidst the 90 other artists life documentaries! and i will definately set a day to visit the sharjah biennial this year! hmm i also gnna spend some time to work on me lab page this weeek! cuz right now it looks like a recipe section but that ain't what its meant to be! its more of a art space where i dump all me experiments be it travelling, painting and hmm photography techniques etc! so more like a tutorial space sooo i'll get to thattt in a jiffy its nagging me so i gtta kill it asap and load alll the xtras in there! heee heeeeeeeeeee! enjoyyyyyyyyyyyyy!

EEEEk its beeen a while since i updated this placey! awwwww hallluuu everyoneee +waves hysterically+ i overloaded/overbooked meself to the limits last week so i guess i've beeen rushingg all over the placeyy! but everything's cleared up now yipppeeeeeee! +humming the pink panther tune+ i'm also taking part in another group exhibit next month that falls in line with the 7TH Sharjah Biennenial hee heee! its actuallly a fun project titled Heal the world organized by The Third line a new artspace in dxb and reflects the role of globalization in the lives of artists worldwide! so each one of us had to prepare a documentation of a typical day in our lives i added a dose of humour into it and dumped it into my own designed layout cuz i wanted it to weallly reflect me n me hyper nutty self! lol!

I need to utterly get outttttttt! too many factors surrounding me at one shot is getting me craving a break! awayyy fromm everythinggg!! n no retaill therapy ain't doing the trick this time! i am targetingg a dateee let'ss jusss hopee all the pieces fit in ! i just weallly neeed to get away for a few! just to refresh and detox me system +sigh+

On a higherr notee i saw me delelelelcious AD buds kitty witty n sams for a l'il under 2 hours yesterday awwwww! huggggggggggg! surelyyy not enufff timee tooo gett the right dosage of both of ya! thanxss forr making me crackk up in fitsss literallly CRACK UP! I weallly hadd a blastttt more than enuff to lastt me a month!! hahahhaha AD wass simplyy gaaawjusss +hugss her capitall cityy tighttttttt+
andd thee fancyy emirates palace hotel was reallly classsy but even though i am a DIE HARD mettallics fan. The gold interiors was slightly to overwhelimnggg! a bit to gaudyy for me butt quitee a purtttyyy chunkkk of architecture and generous hospitalityy! ehheh niceyyy niceee!
