Assalaamu Alikum.
Nothing in life should be taken for granted...I learned that in this current trip to Pakistan. Anyway..only 4 hours...hmm..i've been through with electricity for more than 8hrs (i think could have been longer)...this was at the longest.... electricity usually goes out for 2-3 hrs nearly every other day!
Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal...

Thank God I woke up at 7:00 am on Thursday and did everything I needed with electricity & had my breakfast early
I was typing my story on the PC, clicked the save button, stood up to stretch my arms and then suddenly the electricity went off.. I was happy that I had clicked the save button.
I then spent the next 4 hours without electricity reading and drawing 
It seems that I wrote my journal here *lol*.. btw, I liked the last picture, Nice top

Oh my God..
I was just on the phone with my brother and he was telling me that the electricity is cut off from Dubai.. and he's got a zillion things to get done but the streets are all jammed up that he's stuck on the road..
the call got cut off and i am not sure what happnened to him.. been trying to call him but the network is buys >_<
hope he's ok..
i seriously can't imagine life with no electricity.. at least not for long..

Its amazing how many things you can think of when the electricity is cut off! Allah y3eenkom Dubai people 3ala this loss & especially in this extreme heat! I really hope no one is really stuck in elevators because I wouldn't imagine the stuffiness, the fear & darkness! (>_<)
